This is not so much a blog as a spiritual journal… I previously ran a moderately popular traditional blog called ExecutivePagan, but after three and a half years that identity just didn’t fit me any longer.
The title and tagline for this blog are taken from the Reform Jewish liturgy for erev shabbat (Friday night services). Here is the prayer in full:
DAYS PASS and the years vanish, and we walk sightless among miracles.
God, fill our eyes with seeing and our minds with knowing; let there be moments when Your presence, like lightning, illumines the darkness in which we walk. Help us to see, wherever we gaze, that the bush burns unconsumed.
And we, clay touched by God, will reach out for holiness, and exclaim in wonder: How filled with awe is this place, and we did not know it!

Erik, our paths cross but once again. I had written a few years back asking permission to quote you in an Interfaith service. I thank you for that, and now I am graced by your new Blog title and its source! “How filled with awe is this place!” I appreciate your natural evolution and personal morphing. May your eyes keep seeing and your heart keep sharing.
I remember! It’s nice to see you back again – be well.
Thank you for your insights, I hope the journey through the living earth continues to be a wonder
